A young aviator with a promising future has been identified as one of the nine people killed in a devastating Learjet crash in Florida.

Nathalia Gadelha Filgueiras, just 20 years old, was identified by her family as the aircraft’s co-pilot following the deadly crash that claimed the lives of everyone aboard.

Filgueiras had developed a passion for aviation at an early age. She reportedly earned her private pilot’s license at just 17, before she was even old enough to obtain her driver’s license.

Despite her young age, she had reportedly accumulated approximately 1,300 flight hours, demonstrating her dedication to pursuing a career in aviation.

Her death has brought a deeply personal dimension to a tragedy that has already raised serious questions about what went wrong in the aircraft’s final moments.

Federal aviation investigators are working to determine what caused the Learjet to crash. Authorities have not yet established an official cause.

As investigators continue examining the wreckage and circumstances surrounding the disaster, Filgueiras is being remembered as a young woman who followed her passion for flying.

At only 20 years old, she had already accomplished what many aspiring pilots spend years working toward.

Her promising aviation career, and her life, ended far too soon.

The investigation remains ongoing, with additional information about the other victims expected as authorities complete the identification and notification process.
